You can register without applying for a job.
Once you are registered, you are welcome to apply for specific jobs that you're qualified for.
The application process requires answers to some job-specific questions, and you may also choose to update your CV.
Only apply for a job that you are qualified for. You will not do yourself any favours by applying for jobs where your skills and experience do not match the specification.
Applicants who look promising will be asked to provide references.
We will need full contact details for three referees:
We always recommend that applicants contact their referees in advance. This is simply good manners, but it also helps to ensure a more prompt response.
Suitable candidates will be asked to attend a meeting with TI.
These usually take place in London, but are sometimes arranged in other locations.
We ask you to bring along various documents: driving licence, passport, originals of your academic/teaching qualifications.
Based on these meetings we draw up a shortlist of preferred candidates and discuss them with the client.
Please note that TI cannot reimburse expenses for this preliminary meeting.
Generally, two candidates are put forward for interview with the client.
Interviews may take place anywhere, though typically they're at the client's home. Sometimes, for convenience, they may be arranged at a hotel in London.
Interviewees will meet the children and will be fully apprised of all circumstances. The client will pay travel expenses.
Selected candidates are subject to background screening. This is carried out by an external international security firm.
